I may have been partly to blame for the accident - can I still claim?
Yes. This is the case for many accidents. Courts apportion (dividing up) the damages so that each pays according to fault. This is called 'contributory negligence.' If you were found to be fifty % responsible for your accident, you would receive fifty % of the compensation.
Why mustn’t I Delay?
Claims are subject to time limits. If you delay beyond the limit, then your right to make a claim is lost. The period may be 3 years sometimes even less. An exception to the 3-year time limit, in the case of a child a claim can be submitted up until the child reaches the age of 21.
Will I Get All the Money Awarded?
Yes.
How Long Will it Take?
This depends upon many things including how quickly the other side processes your claim. We now use the best in modern technology to keep your action moving. Be sure though we do use a Fast Track Service.
Am I Guaranteed to Win?
No, but we only take on cases we believe will be successful.
Must I tell you everything?
Yes. Its nothing we’ve not heard before, everything you tell us is in complete confidence, though we do have to make your claim openly and honestly.
What is "No Win No Fee"?
It's simple: If you don't succeed in your claim, you pay nothing.
Am I ever alone with this case?
All help and advice is given throughout and we have a full back up service.
Will I have lots of paperwork to fill in?
No. Your solicitor will ensure that the claims process is as simple and straightforward as possible; most of the paperwork will be done for you.
